This restaurant is famous around Sri Muda Town with their signature Crystal Char Siew... Why crystal? Cos the fatty meat they barbecued remains transparent (shiny). This restaurant is located nearby my office. I worked in KK almost 7 years. I used to go there for lunch. There is always 'people mountain people sea'. You need to go there as early as possible, if not you can see the long-q from far~
Old staff~
As I know this restaurant was featured in Astro host Chui Ling 1 day 5 meals! The boss is extremely friendly!
You cannot miss this chili~
I prefer breast duck meat with their signature char siew. Look at the breast duck meat, it's juicy and soft!
The crystal char siew
Can you see the fatty layer? It coated with the sauce and is crispy outside the skin. Put the whole piece in you mouth and chewed it, you can feel the fatty juice is melting in your mouth!
Nice barbecued char siew 'head'
What are these two bowls doing here? Okay, the left hand side is char siew sauce and the right side is duck sauce. I cannot eat without these two bowls. The char siew sauce is think, glossy and sweet. Yum! and the duck sauce is fragrant and not oily! Mixed these two sauces in your white rice, i tell you..marvelous!!
This is the way 'hokkien' style eating their chicken rice. Dark soy sauce, boh gao boh ai! Lagi gao lagi hor liau!
They do served q q wantan mee too. Hubby portion!
The wantan are big too!
I don't know what soup is this but i believe if a stall or restaurant is selling chicken rice the soup should taste good! Cos they will used the chicken bone/head/leg/neck to boil the soup.
