Do you know that old cucumber is a cooling food? It can reduce the 'heat' in our body. And not only that, I searched online and found out that old cucumber is also good for skin. To prevent skin aging!! Hey, whether it's true or not but no harm drinking or consuming it right?
Lets start the anti-aging soup ~ hahahaha~
Old Cucumber Soup (double boiled method)

What you need:-
-Old cucumber
-Red dates
-Kei ji (Wolfberries)
-Dry oyster
-Dry scallop
-Yuk Zhuk
-Pork ribs/pork bone
Method:-
1) Wash the pork ribs/pork bone and boiled it for 5 mins, drain it with running tap water and set aside.
2) Wash and cut the old cucumber into chunks and remove the seeds
3) Soak the rest of the ingredients and set aside
5) Put your ingredients into your double boiler pot and add in the water until everything is covered
6) Double boil it for 2.5 hours and add in salt if necessary.
See my anti-aging soup is done! This is the first time I'm using gas stove to double boiled soup (to save some electrical bills ;) konon konon~nya. LOL!! Normally I will use my double boiler gadget to boil it or you can use your slow cooker you have.
