Just the two of us..

I always have a headache when it comes to deciding about what to eat.  Then I love to ask the boy.."What do u want to eat tonight"? and I know what the answer will be..... (always fast food).......*sweat*

So I planned to have Thai food since my friend told me she just had it!  This gave me cravings for tom yam....Okay, so here we are at Restaurant Koh Samui.  First time we are visiting this restaurant.

First, they served us this keropok and their famous dipping sauce (I guess) hahaha.... but my boy loves it so mcuh.. he dipped the keropok with the dipping sauce...I still remember this keropok from my younger days, the ones I always bought after school, then my mum will scold me if she sees eating them... missed my childhood times...

The first dish I wish to order is Tom yum.  What else right? hahaha....... here come the tom yum.  Tom yum Prawn!  This Tom yum costs me RM 16 with only 4 prawns inside!.. mmmmm....well, I told the boy there are only 4 pieces inside.  Then the boy said, I eat 2 and mummy eat 2 lo... I was like fuuuh.. lucky he didn't say he wanted to eat all hahaha...ok, come back to the taste. With the fragrant spices and herbs generously used in the broth I can say that it is not bad, a little bit sour to me but it covers all the essentials of a standard tom yum soup and it tastes flavorful.  I rate this 7/10. 

I had tasted tom yum better than this... but this one boleh tahan la.... okay, we also ordered this special fried rice with salted fish. The salted fish quite salty (...mmm salted fish ma, sure salty lo..lol!) and the portion is quite big too... at last, I feel that this fried rice is slightly oily for me...just ngam ngam in portion for both of us.  I rate this 7/10

 We ordered a glass of orange juice too and my boy asked me whether i know how to make this juice or not? (sweat and speechless)

Well, this is our dinner for today.  I will post more pictures about food...and the happy boy finished his bowl of tom yum soup and gives a thumbs up! ^^

My first blogging

Good news! Finally I have the guts to write a blog! Why? I used to read other blogs, the more I read the more I got interested in writing my own blog.... ^.^ ..Writing a blog is just similar like writing a diary. It is a place to express myself to the world and a place to share my thoughts and my passions.

But honestly I've been a tad hesitant because of my poor command of English ..so this makes me think twice to move forward...What a poor excuse right? So I have to start somewhere someday. Well here goes!

*(shy)* Okay! My first blog here goes like this. Actually I created my own page in FB named "Warm Delights".  The gal in the logo look like me right hahahaha.....My first business online! Wow.. I'm a tauke soh u know~hehe.  Well, I started this blog is just because I wanted to save useful recipes so that I can easily find it.  This idea was also given by one of the groups I joined.  She asked me why don't I have my own blog so that she can find some baking and cooking ideas here.... so, ta daaa..here u go and then I found is also easy for me to save recipes ...:)

Actually, this logo and photo cover created by one of my friends.  She helped me to design the cute logo that I love so much (but of course it's not free! haha).  I always dream of having my own logo and yes! My dream has come true.  Thanks Joyce for the effort.

Okay... I will start to save all my recipes and my journey starts here... Stay tuned~~!
